Job Title: Fiber Optic Technician
Location: UAE (Oil & Gas Project)
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in Oil & Gas projects
Education: ITI / Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline)
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables in oil and gas facilities.
- Troubleshooting and repair of fiber optic networks.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Preparing reports and documentation for all work performed.
Requirements:
- ITI or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Telecommunication preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in fiber optics within oil and gas environments.
- Knowledge of OTDR, fusion splicers, and other testing equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
