Job Overview

Al Samit International, on behalf of M/S. Det Norske Veritas (DNV), is urgently hiring a Start-Up Lead for their LNG projects in Qatar. This is an immediate requirement for a two-year initial contract with possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Lead and coordinate start-up activities for LNG project at Ras Laffan.
    • \n
  • Develop and implement commissioning and start-up plans.
    • \n
  • Ensure safe and efficient transition from construction to operations.
    • \n
  • Collaborate with project teams, operations, and contractors.
    • \n
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues during start-up.
    • \n

Qualifications & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Gas Operations.
    • \n
  • At least 3 years in project development, commissioning & start-up activities.
    • \n
  • Strong knowledge of LNG processes and safety standards.
    • \n
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to work on a rotational schedule (12 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF).
    • \n

Contract Details

\n
    \n
  • Duration: Two (2) years initial contract with possibility of extension.
    • \n
  • Work Location: Onshore – Ras Laffan / Doha HQ, Qatar.
    • \n
  • Work Schedule: 8-10 hours per day, Sunday to Thursday.
    • \n
  • Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (Single Status).
    • \n
  • Status: Single status – accommodation and transportation provided.
    • \n
