LEAD INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

  • Leads or carries out maintenance of field instrumentation such as transmitters, control valves, ESD valves, flame sensors, vibration probes, loading arm instruments, gas & steam turbine, compressor and burner management instrumentation systems.
  • Ensures compliance with PPM requirements and maintains calibration & maintenance records.
  • Guides instrument technicians, communicates with supervisor & operations and provides feedback.
  • Leads diagnosis & repair of faults & breakdowns and reports.
  • Participates in acceptance tests of new/upgrade systems and provides punch list.
  • Conducts toolbox meetings and ensures strict adherence to QatarGas safety rules, EHS policies, procedures and standards.

Salary (Offshore) - On Duty: QR 5,000 | Off Duty: QR 2,300

LEAD ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

  • Lead and provide close site guidance of all electrical jobs with minimum or no supervision. Participates in troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment during breakdowns for further analysis and investigation.
  • Provides accurate maintenance history and closeout reports, maintains a log of all completed / ongoing work.
  • Identifies common failures and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Supports other disciplines in troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Ensure compliance with QatarGas PTW, electrical safety, EHS & security procedures. Conducts toolbox talks and ensures safety measures in place as per JSA.
  • Observe hazards, unsafe conditions and near miss and report as per procedure.

Salary (Offshore) - On Duty: QR 4,800 | Off Duty: QR 2,200

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

  • Performs maintenance on static equipment such as columns, vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers and piping system including valves.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on static equipment.
  • Performs flange bolting and torqueing as per procedure.
  • Monitors & maintains the health of mechanical equipment in the assigned area.
  • Understands piping system specifications & isometric drawings.
  • Understands and performs lock out/tag out, blinding & de-blinding activities.
  • Understands pressure vessels, pipeline pig receiver and their components.
  • Performs tasks on different types of heat exchangers and components.
  • Basic understanding of NDT process.
  • Participates in Regular Toolbox meeting with colleagues.

Salary (Offshore) - On Duty: QR 4,600 | Off Duty: QR 2,100

ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR (Must have worked in Instrument also)

  • Ensure compliance with QatarGas PTW, electrical safety, EHS & security procedures and regulations. Conducts toolbox talk and ensures safety measures as per JSA.
  • Observe hazards, unsafe conditions and near miss and report as per procedure.
  • Directs and provides close onsite supervision of all electrical jobs performed by technicians in the assigned area within QatarGas facilities.
  • Participates in troubleshooting and repair of equipment of critical nature during breakdowns.

Salary (Offshore) - On Duty: QR 6,800 | Off Duty: QR 3,200

MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

  • Ensure compliance with QatarGas PTW, safety, EHS & security procedures and regulations. Conducts toolbox talk and ensures safety measures as per JSA.
  • Observe hazards, unsafe conditions and near miss and report as per procedure.
  • Directs and provides close onsite supervision of all mechanical maintenance jobs performed by technicians in the assigned area within QatarGas facilities.
  • Participates in troubleshooting and repair of equipment of critical nature during breakdowns.

Salary (Offshore) - On Duty: QR 8,300 | Off Duty: QR 4,000

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (HVAC)

  • Performs maintenance on HVAC systems including chillers, AHUS, FCUs, pumps, valves, ducting and associated equipment.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment.
  • Performs flange bolting and torqueing as per procedure.
  • Monitors & maintains the health of mechanical equipment in the assigned area.
  • Understands piping system specifications & isometric drawings.
  • Participates in Regular Toolbox meeting with colleagues.

Salary (Offshore) - On Duty: QR 4,600 | Off Duty: QR 2,100
