Job Opportunities with a Leading Switchgear Company in Kuwait

We are urgently hiring for a prestigious switchgear company based in Kuwait. Shortlisting is in progress and online interviews will be conducted shortly. Multiple positions available for experienced electrical engineers.

Available Positions

1. Protection Maintenance Engineer

• Experience in maintenance of protective equipment in EHV, HV, and LV substations.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of all types of protection relays, including distance protection relays in substations, along with testing skills.
• Ability to test and maintain battery chargers and electronic circuits.

2. Site Maintenance Engineer

• Experience in maintenance of EHV, HV, and LV equipment in substations.
• Responsible for execution of all site works.
• Fully aware of safety procedures during maintenance.
• Must have experience in substation maintenance up to 400 kV.
• Good knowledge of maintenance of SF6 GIS, power transformers, batteries, etc.

3. Testing & Commissioning Engineer

• Hands-on experience in testing and pre-commissioning works in elevated substations and primary substations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Sound knowledge in testing of CTs, PTs, meters, transducers, power transformers, circuit breakers, and associated equipment.
• Capable of testing numerical protection relays.
• Familiar with schemes and capable of performing commissioning tests like primary injection tests, stability tests, HV tests, etc.

General Requirements

• Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Maximum age: 40 years.
