Job Opportunity: Highway Manager / Sr. Engineer – South Sudan
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Highway Manager / Sr. Engineer for a major road project in South Sudan. This is a senior leadership role requiring extensive expertise in highway design, construction supervision, and contract management in post-conflict environments.
Key Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Highway, Traffic or Transport Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered or registered Engineer preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years as Team Leader/Project Manager on road design and construction supervision.
- Proven experience in managing major civil engineering works, including EPC/Design and Build contracts.
- Knowledge of international best practices in contract management and modern highway construction technology.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Position: Assistant Highway Manager / Contracts Engineer
We are also hiring an Assistant Highway Manager / Contracts Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience. Must have handled at least three similar road assignments within the last 10 years and possess strong skills in quantities, contract administration, and claims documentation.
Compensation
- Highway Manager/Sr. Engineer: USD 4,000 per month
- Asst. Highway Manager/Contracts Engineer: USD 3,000 per month
