**Position:** Lead Mechanical Design Engineer
**Location:** Qatar
**Experience:** 15-20 years in major Oil & Gas projects across the Gulf or abroad
**Key Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven expertise in mechanical design engineering within the Oil & Gas sector
- Hands-on experience with SP3D or PDMS software
- Additional advantage: Proficiency in PV Elite and/or ANSYS
- Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills
**Roles & Responsibilities (typical for such positions):**
- Lead the mechanical design team for large-scale oil and gas projects
- Develop and review piping and equipment layouts using SP3D/PDMS
- Perform stress analysis and pressure vessel design using PV Elite/ANSYS
- Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality standards
