Job Overview
We are urgently recruiting experienced Quantity Surveyors (MEI) and Quantity Surveyor MEI Technicians for a prestigious Oil & Gas project in Mozambique. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major international project with competitive tax-free salaries.
Positions & Salary
- Quantity Surveyor MEI – Salary: USD 3,000 – 3,500 per month
- Quantity Surveyor MEI Technician – Salary: USD 2,500 – 3,000 per month
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of MEI/MEP quantity surveying experience
- Proven experience with overseas projects (preferably in Africa or Middle East)
- Strong skills in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, contracts management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and advanced Excel
- Excellent English communication (verbal & written)
- Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQ) for MEP works
- Perform cost estimation, budget tracking, and variance analysis
- Manage contract administration, variations, and claims
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
- Utilize AutoCAD and Navisworks for quantity take-offs and model reviews
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements
