URGENT HIRING – ELEVATOR ADJUSTER

Our client, a renowned leader in the Elevator industry in the UAE, is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Elevator Adjuster. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment.

Job Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience as an Adjuster in the elevator/escalator industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company.
• Report all safety violations, hazards, and issues to supervisor immediately.
• Participate in rectification of safety issues.
• Follow installation and quality procedures.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as per procedures and risk assessment.
• Maintain own PPE.
• Reach schedule as directed by AIM and supervisors following installation procedures.
• Install mechanically and electrically, inspect, and adjust installed freight and passenger elevators and escalators to meet factory specifications and safety codes.
• Inspect door installations for plumbness, lap, and working action; adjust mechanisms using hand tools.
• Inspect car hoistway and mechanical installations for alignment and clearance.
• Test power consumption and line voltage changes of motors and generator sets under no-load and full-load conditions using tachometer, voltmeter, ammeter, and other required tools.
• Adjust counterweights and regulate controls to compensate for power overload.
• Inspect wiring connections and control panel hook-ups; adjust switches to meet gap and timing specifications.
• Test and adjust safety controls such as brakes and governors.
• Turn valve or push switches to adjust pump pressures, fluid levels, and power supply on hydraulic units.
• Operate elevator to determine power demands at various car speeds.
