We are urgently seeking a qualified Biomedical Mechanical Engineer for a leading Oil and Gas company in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 2–7 years of maintenance experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Plan and monitor daily schedules to meet targets for plain or X-ray detectable gauze swabs.
- Analyze workflows in cutting, folding, packing and sterilization to reduce waste and improve machine productivity.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and troubleshoot high-speed machinery such as air-jet looms and automatic folding machines to minimize downtime.
- Ensure products meet sterility and material standards (e.g., absorbency and biocompatibility).
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records (BMR), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation documents.
- Implement safety protocols to protect workers and maintain a clean-room environment suitable for medical device production.
**Qualifications & Experience:**
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (required).
- Minimum 2–7 years of maintenance experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and clean-room operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
