Hamdan Global, a leading recruitment and audit firm in Dubai, is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an immediate joiner who holds a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance and has at least 3 years of UAE experience, preferably in a recruitment company or audit firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer invoicing, receipts posting, credit control, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Vendor invoice booking, verification, payment processing, and supplier reconciliations.
- Posting journal entries, maintaining chart of accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
- Bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and monitoring company accounts.
- Preparing accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and closing entries.
- Preparation of management reports.
- VAT return filing support, ensuring compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations.
- Providing schedules and documentation for internal/external audits.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and UAE laws.
- Any additional duties assigned by the Financial Controller or COO.
Requirements
- 3+ years of UAE experience (recruitment company or audit firm background preferred).
- Must be available to join immediately.
- Master’s degree in Accounts/Finance required; part professional qualification (ACMA, ACCA, CA Inter) is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Reporting.
- Mandatory experience with Tally ERP software.
- Must be available in Dubai for interview.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: AED 5,500 per month. This is a full-time position based at our Dubai office.
